Depression, anxiety among young women high in Japan amid pandemic
The Mainichi Japan covers the study, "Factors Associated with Serious Psychological Distress during the COVID-19 Pandemic in Japan." Dr. Tsugawa and researchers investigated the factors associated with serious psychological distress (SPD) by conducting a large-scale internet survey between August 25 and September 30, 2020 in Japan. They found that young women had a higher risk of suicide during the COVID-19 pandemic.
